The Acala Shri Sedana is located on the picturesque island of Nusa Lembongan, which is a 25-minute boat ride from Sanur, Bali. Guests disembark at Jungutbatu Beach and are then transported in an open-sided vehicle to the hotel on the southern part of the island. This tranquil hillside setting is encompassed by exotic greenery with a direct view of Nusa Ceningan.

Nusa Lembongan covers an area of approximately eight square kilometres enclosed within a coastline of white sandy beaches, low limestone cliffs and mangrove forest. The island is relatively easy to explore by bicycle or on foot, although some roads are unsurfaced. Motorbikes seem to be the preferred mode of transportation and can be rented for a daily fee.

The Acala is not far from the bright yellow suspension bridge that connects Nusa Lembongan to the neighbouring Nusa Ceningan. There are several seaweed farms nearby as well as numerous beaches and sunset vantage points. The waters surrounding the island are prone to strong currents so it is always advisable swim in the areas deemed safe.
